Safety Brake and Clutch was established in 1995 and has been in operation since. This substantial period of being in the business has contributed to our significant industry knowledge. While we cater for a wide variety of vehicles, we specialise in the fitment of brakes and clutches for passenger and light commercial vehicles. Our brake and clutch fitment centre works under an RMI QUALITY assurance. We have also been appointed as a LUK APPROVED clutch fitment centre. This means that when you walk into our workshop, you are guaranteed to find:

SHOW UP

The industry standard suggests that brake pads and fluid should be inspected every 15 000km. Our Show up service allows you to drive into our centre and have your vehicle’s braking system assessed. Depending on the severity of the problem, we can fix or refit your brakes on the spot (see our Quick Fit service) or make a scheduled arrangement to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Having your brakes assessed is crucial for your safety – the discovery of a problem when you need to use them for that stop at the red light might be too late. Brakes work on the principle of friction to stop your car, and this causes normal wear and tear. They are one of the most frequently replaced parts of a car.

QUICK FIT

Problems can occur when you least expect them. When it comes to your car’s brakes and safety, sometimes you cannot afford to put off fixing things to a more a convenient time. We’ve developed our Quick Fit service specifically to cater to this. We hold a wide range of stock for the more common found cars. Your brakes are quickly and conveniently fitted while you wait, making the drive to your next destination more relaxed and secure.

Signs that your brakes need replacing:

  • Noise when you step on the brake pedal (typically sounding like a high-pitched screech or grinding metal)
  • Running out of brake fluid more frequently than normal
  • Vibrations emitting from the brake pedal when you step on it
  • Your car experiencing a pulling force to the left or right whenever you brake

All components & workmanship by Safety Brake and Clutch are guaranteed for 6 months or 20 000km (unless otherwise specified by the component manufacturer) against defects or faulty workmanship from the date of fitment. This does not include normal wear, abuse or misuse.

When a complaint or dispute is lodged, we reserve the right to consult with the manufacturer on any claim.
